circa 1875, with flip-up 3in. barrel group (hinge sound), the top sighting rib signed on two lines 'E. REMINGTON & SONS ILION N.Y.' and 'ELLIOTS PATENT DEC 12TH 1865', plated open frame with rotating locking lever, spur trigger, chequered hard rubber birdshead grips and a fair amount of original finish
